The PaBaMapa blog started in September 2011. The purpose of the site is to explore different means of data visualization, with a special emphasis on animations and geographical data.

The Author

My name is Pawel Bartoszek and I am a Polish-born Icelandic Mathematician. I am a former lecturer of Mathematics at Reykjavik University and a former member of the Constitutional Council of Iceland. I also write a weekly column for Fréttablaðið, the largest newspaper in Iceland (in Icelandic).
